At the State High School Softball tournament in Fort Dodge this afternoon, Wahlert (30-10) will be attempting to land a spot in Friday’s Class 3A State Championship Game. The 3rd ranked Golden Eagles will tangle with 2nd ranked (31-12) Williamsburg in the semi-final round inside Harlan Rogers Park. Game time will be at 2:30.

Divine Word Benefit Golf Outing
Divine Word College Seminary in Epworth is hosting its Annual Benefit Golf Outing Friday, July 26th at Timberline Golf Course south of Peosta. The outing begins with a shotgun start at 1 pm for the four-person, 18-hole best-shot format. Again this year is a $25,000 hole-in-one prize! Social and dinner will begin around 6 pm. Cost per golfer is $80 and includes, golf, cart, prizes and dinner. For anyone wishing to enjoy just the dinner, the cost is $25.
