Minden man facing life sentence for shooting girlfriend to death
SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - A jury made up of nine women and three men took just 15 minutes to find a Minden man guilty of murdering his girlfriend. On July 24, Richard Spencer, 56, was found guilty of second-degree murder for shooting his live-in girlfriend seven times. Spencer shot and killed Michelle Wells at her home in the 3000 block of Dallas Street on August 16, 2023, according to officials with the Caddo Parish District Attorney’s Office.
