ONSLOW COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - The impacts of the global technology outage are being experienced Eastern Carolina. Albert J Ellis Airport in Jacksonville saw several flight delays and cancellations this morning for American and Delta airlines. According to the airport director, Mitch Sprunger, hubs for Charlotte and Atlanta were impacted.

Cross Creek Mall welcomed two Fayetteville-owned restaurants to the food court late last year, but the two eateries disappeared nearly as quickly as they arrived. East Carolina seniors cornerback Shavon Revel and wide receiver Winston Wright Jr. have both been announced to the East-West Shrine Bowl Watch List, according to a release from ECU Media Relations. The East-West Shrine Bowl is a postseason college all-star game that provides the opportunity for some of the best draft hopefuls to compete against one another in front of scouts in practice, and on game day.
