Police identify victim found killed in late-night shooting in Clairton
CLAIRTON, Pa. (KDKA) - A man is dead following a late-night shooting in Allegheny County. According to county police, just after 10 p.m., their assistance was requested in Clairton for a shooting in the 900 block of Madison Avenue. Once they arrived on the scene they found a man had been shot and he was pronounced dead at the scene. He was identified as 27-year-old Terrell Blanks of Homestead. Allegheny County Police homicide detectives are investigating. Anyone with information is asked to call Allegheny County Police's Tip Line at 1-833-ALL-TIPS and callers can remain anonymous. Boy, 4, struck by vehicle in Crafton Heights
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A 4-year-old boy is in the hospital after being hit by a vehicle in Pittsburgh's Crafton Heights neighborhood on Sunday evening, Pittsburgh Public Safety officials said.Pittsburgh police were called to the scene around 8:30 p.m. along Woodlow Street. The boy had been sitting in the vehicle, police said. He ran out of the vehicle and then was struck.He was taken by family members to the nearest hospital. Police said he was then taken to UPMC Children's Hospital for additional care and treatment. Doctors have listed his condition as grave, police said.The incident is being investigated.
Woman Flown To Hospital After Route 8 Crash
One person was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital after a crash in Center Township Saturday afternoon. The accident happened on Route 8 North near the Butler Flea Market. State Police say that a vehicle driven by 21-year-old Athena Koutsouliou of White Oak was driving south when a vehicle driven by 27-year-old Kendall-Jem Brown was at the stop sign at Volkswood Drive.
