Harvard man Arrested by SWAT Team Following November Domestic Violence Incident Sentenced
MOSCOW - The 47-year-old Harvard man who was arrested by a SWAT team for a domestic violence incident last fall has been sentenced. Adam Long was sentenced Tuesday to three years probation by Latah County Second District Court Judge John Judge. Long previously pleaded guilty to felony aggravated domestic violence. He was arrested in November after he threatened a woman with a knife and shot at her tire as she was trying to leave his home. A SWAT team arrested Long the next morning at his home North of Harvard on State Highway 6. He spent 22 days in jail after his initial arrest.

PULLMAN - The Pullman Good Food Co-op is in the final push to raise a half a million dollars to move forward on buying a building for its store. The group needs the money by July 8th for the down payment to buy the old Fireside Grille location on Bishop Boulevard. The building was more recently used as a dental office by the Yakima Valley Farmworkers Clinic. Co-op leaders told the Port Of Whitman County Commissioners in October that the clinic put the building on the market last year with a list price of 3 million dollars.
