Abilene area forecast: Monday August 5th

Summer-like weather will continue its grip on the Big Country as we will see a few more days of 100 degree plus afternoon highs for the area. Expect it also to remain dry through the period. For today, we will see sunny skies, hot temps and a high of 102 degrees. The winds will be out of the south and light at 5 mph. For tonight, look for clear skies and a low around 78 degrees. The winds will remain light at 5-10 mph out of the south southeast.
