    Wake-Up Weather: near record temperatures with relief at the end of the tunnel

    Summary: Yesterday was record-breaking, reaching a high of 108° .Temperatures will continue to climb for today, but likely staying at or below the record.  Heading into tomorrow a few changes are up ahead with a cold front expected to move in by the early morning hours on Friday prompting a few thunderstorms, heading into Friday afternoon, providing the potential for microburst storms, as well as the potential for gusty winds and large hail. Temperatures will fall into the upper 90s by this weekend, following rain chances and then warming up heading into the next week as a warm front pushes north.

    Today: Sunny skies with temperatures staying potentially near a record high. High Temperature: 107° Winds: S>ESE 5-10 MPH

    Tonight: Mostly clear night with an incoming cold front on the way. Low Temperature: 76° Winds: SE 5-10 G 20 MPH
