Wake-Up Weather: rain chances seem slim as heat and high humidity build into the weekend

Summary: Temperatures today continue into the triple digits likely adding another day to the triple digit count since the beginning of the year throughout the next seven days the good news is that we are on the cooler side of the forecast for this week heading into the weekend we see temperatures potentially up to heat, advisory, criteria, and possible record, breaking temperatures as kids complete their first week back to school. Hazy conditions, thanks to a few fires out northwest. Heat continues to build as a high-pressure pushes out east but another stronger high-pressure system builds over the state of Texas throughout the end of this week. Rain chances seem slim but best Thursday and Friday.
