American Jordy Scott, who was third in the slalom at Crankworx Rotorua, was able to push through and grab the victory on the tight course. Martha Gill, the winner from Rotorua was upset in the first round by Ellen Turkovic and did not advance.

In the men’s field, Ryan Gilchrist continued on his success with two E-EDR podiums early this season and took the win over Tuhoto-Ariki Pene in the finals.
