Nove Mesto World Cup Women's XCO Highlights

On Sunday in Nove Mesto, Czech Republic, the pros raced the third cross-country round of the UCI Mountain Bike World Series.

After two exciting rounds in Brazil, the first European World Cup stop did not disappoint. Watch the highlights from the women’s race below.

In Nove Mesto, Pauline Ferrand-Prevot made a statement in her first World Cup of the year and rode off the front for the win. Prevot announced that 2024 is her final year racing professionally, and she is certainly going out with a bang. Prevot will be looking forward to racing in the Olympics on her home turf this August.

Hailey Batten continued her strong season and rode into second place, extending her lead in the overall standings.

Swiss racer Alessandra Keller was third, continuing her consistent season, finishing 6th and 4th in the first two rounds. Defending overall winner and European Champion Puck Pieterse was fourth.

Jenny Risveds, who won the World Cup and sat second in the overall heading into the weekend, crashed in practice and had to sit out. See the full results below.

The Cross-country World Cup will return on the weekend of June 14-16 in Val di Sole, Italy.
