Eliot Jackson is a former professional downhill racer who is now a commentator for Red Bull TV.

Even though he works in the booth now, Eliot still rips. Watch Jackson go big at Vancouver Island's Mount Prevost in “Drop the Mic” below.

In this video, Jackson took his e-bike to Prevost’s downhill trails and surrounding riding spots. Despite the heavier electric mountain bike, Jackson was able to get playful in the tight turns. In the final shot of the edit, Eliot launched over a precipitous canyon gap.

Jackson spent years racing on the World Cup where he was known for his incredible style on the bike in the race course, sometimes without appropriate footwear. Eliot’s best result was 10th place at Mont Sainte Anne in 2017. He raced his last World Cup in 2018 and began to pursue other interests.

Jackson founded the Grow Cycling Foundation, which aims to make bike riding more diverse by helping provide access to riding for people from different backgrounds.

Eliot soon found another niche alongside Rob Warner in the commentary booth calling World Cups for Red Bull TV. Though Red Bull lost the World Cup broadcasting rights in the 2023 season, Jackson and Warner still call other downhill events for Red Bull TV.

“Drop the Mic” was filmed and produced by videographer Scott Secco.
