Bulgarian Community Seeking a Permanent House of Worship
For years, the local Bulgarian community hasn’t had a house of worship to call its own. “It’s kind of killing all the efforts throughout all the generations that Bulgarians had put into preserving the faith and passing it on,” said Maria Rahneva. “It’s not only faith … the church plays a huge role in the upbringing of the next generation, [in] preserving the literature and passing on values, and there’s no place right now.”

A 19-year-old from Chelmsford, Isaiah Polston, has been charged with armed robbery and related offenses for an incident that occurred last December. Polston allegedly robbed a man at gunpoint who was attempting to purchase vape cartridges, as reported by the Tewksbury Police Department. According to a press release cited by MassLive, the victim claimed he was dragged by a car, leading to bruises and scrapes, after the robbery took place around 6:15 p.m. on Pratt Street in Tewksbury.
