See who won gold, silver and bronze in Sun Herald’s 2024 Best of Coastal MS competition

The votes are counted and the winners revealed for the Sun Herald’s 2024 Best of Coastal Mississippi awards.

More than 1,900 businesses, organizations and people were competing for the gold, silver and bronze designations.

The awards, as voted on by people across South Mississippi, and are designed to support Coast businesses.

This year’s winners are in 260 categories, starting with South Mississippi’s favorite restaurants and bars. Other categories are attractions, casinos, schools, banks, hairdresser, spas, garden center, lawyers, car dealerships, real estate, services and shopping.

People who have been to Ground Zero Blues Club in downtown Biloxi voted it the Best Live Music Venue. Rouses was selected at the best grocery store. Once people start flipping through the categories, they’ll discover the top Date Night Spot, Happy Hour place and who turns out the Best Fried Chicken.

Readers can see if they agree with the top choices and may be surprised to discover some new places to get a haircut, a great pizza, go to the spa, buy flowers and shop locally for a new car.
