This year, a total of $69,200 has been awarded to eleven companion animal organizations– organizations that provide services for dogs, cats and horses.

The Remy Fund was established in 2011 by philanthropist Ken Jackson in memory of his late dog, Remy. Since its establishment, it has awarded over $649,000 to companion animal organizations in the Jefferson, Shelby, St. Clair, Blount and Walker counties.
