Probable cause found for two to be tried for fatal shooting
A Knox County judge says there’s probable cause for two people to be tried in connection with a fatal shooting a month and a half ago. Knox County Court records indicate Judge Chad Long ruled Monday that probable cause exists to try Chase Houlden, Jr, and Gabriel Moore, both 19, on counts including First-Degree Murder and Aggravated Battery.

The Ottawa Police Department on Tuesday sent out an updated accident report mentioning that 64-year-old Ronald Winnicki of Ottawa passed away from his injuries. Washington teenager identified as victim in fatal crash in East Peoria
Washington teenager Avery Grazier was identified as the person killed in a single-car accident on Springfield Road in East Peoria, the Tazewell County Coroner's Office announced. Grazier, 16, was the passenger in a pick-up truck involved in a single-vehicle crash and was pronounced dead at the scene at 3:20 a.m. Monday.
