Bismarck man pleads guilty to dealing more than 260 pounds of drugs
BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR) - A Bismarck man has pleaded guilty to multiple drug charges after police said they found him with more than 260 pounds of drugs. Bismarck Police officers say Chane Britton was selling more than 50 pounds of marijuana, 180 pounds of THC extract products and 30 pounds of psilocybin products.
Bismarck Man Sentenced For Wrong-Way Crash With State Trooper
(Bismarck, ND) — A wrong-way driver who crashed head-on into a state trooper’s vehicle in Bismarck earlier this year has been sentenced to two years in prison. It happened on U.S. Highway 83, and while trooper William Brown’s patrol car was damaged in the collision, he wasn’t seriously hurt. The driver, identified as Steven Kessel had a blood alcohol level more than three times the legal limit at the time of the crash. He pleaded guilty to criminal vehicular injury and driving on a suspended license, and is required to submit a chemical dependency evaluation and undergo treatment.
Bismarck man killed in rear-end crash south of Minot
WARD COUNTY, N.D. (KMOT) - A Bismarck man is dead following a rear-end crash just south of Minot Sunday morning, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol. The state patrol said the 68-year-old man was headed south in an SUV on Highway 83 shortly after 11 a.m. when he slowed in the driving lane to check on a vehicle stopped on the shoulder of the road.
