Arizona tribes show support for San Carlos Apache amid wildfire
SAN CARLOS, Ariz. — Several Arizona tribes have extended support to the San Carlos Apache Tribe following a devastating wildfire that broke out July 11. The Watch Fire destroyed 13 homes and burned over 1,110 acres, leaving 75 people homeless and forcing the evacuation of more than 400 residents, according to the San Carlos Apache Tribe. The fire is the most serious structural blaze the area has seen in at least 30 years.
