As of July 2024, there were upwards of 10,000 Walgreens across America, with Colorado having just over 50. However, the number of Colorado locations will drop by three when the company closes "underperforming" stores.

After nearly four decades, former Deputy Chief of Operations Jeff Bybee has retired from service at the North Metro Fire District. Boulder City Council is on summer recess. There will be no meetings July 4, 11 or 18. • Possible conversion of the Boulder Municipal Airport. Two measures, the result of citizen petitions, will be on November’s ballot seeking to decommission the airport and redevelop it into housing.
