SEA committee prepares new teacher welcome bags
(Shenandoah) -- Some Shenandoah School District instructors are once again planning a warm welcome for new staff members. Donations are sought from area businesses for the Shenandoah Education Association's traditional new teacher welcome bags. Amy Toye and Angie Trowbridge are among the members of the committee preparing the welcome bags. Speaking on KMA's "Morning Show" earlier this week, Toye--a high school language arts instructor--says the welcome bags are a long-standing tradition prior to a new school year.
