Motorist Hospitalized After Fiery Crash North of Zeeland
BLENDON TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, July 4, 2024) – A 19-year-old Hudsonville man was hospitalized after a fiery single-vehicle crash north of Zeeland late on Wednesday night. According to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sergeant Jon Smoes, deputies and other first responders were dispatched around 11:45 PM to the area of 96th Avenue near Bingham Street on a report of a sedan that had rolled over and was ablaze. The lone motorist was able to get out of the vehicle by the time crews arrived.

Michigan Corrections Organization asks Gov. Whitmer for emergency assistance
Byron Osborn, president of the Michigan Corrections Organization, released a letter calling on Governor Gretchen Whitmer to provide immediate relief to corrections officers in the state.
