Peoria police investigate shots fired inside Big Al’s
PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) — Officers are investigating a report of gunshots inside the building that houses Big Al’s early Sunday. Officers were called the business, located in the 400 block of Southwest Jefferson Avenue, just before 3:30 a.m. on a report of a fight, said Semone Roth of the Peoria Police Department.
1 dead after officer-involved shooting in Peoria
PEORIA (25News Now) - Peoria Police confirmed a man was killed during an officer-involved shooting on Sherman Avenue Sunday afternoon. Police said the man, 46-year-old Donald Wilson, died after he reportedly swung a digging shovel at officers, prompting one officer to shoot his firearm and two others to fire their tasers.
