Wednesday marks the Fever's last game for almost a month, but it won't even be Caitlin Clark's last game of the week. The standout rookie was selected as a WNBA All-Star and will face Team USA in Saturday's All-Star Game.

Before the 22-year-old guard takes her place at the summer showcase in Phoenix, though, Clark has her sights set on a third consecutive win entering the WNBA's Olympic break.

The Fever enter Wednesday coming off back-to-back victories over the Mercury and Lynx, vaulting themselves to seventh place in the league after such a tough start to the season. That run has pushed Indiana into playoff position, and a five-win Wings team represents another opportunity to build momentum.

Clark, meanwhile, is coming off a less efficient performance than she would have liked against Minnesota. But she has five double-doubles in her last six games and appears to hitting her stride just ahead of the All-Star Game.

Here's a complete look at Clark's stats from Indiana's matchup with the Wings on Wednesday.

Clark posted another 20-point game, finishing with 24, but her passing made headlines from this contest. The 22-year-old set the WNBA record for most assists in a game with 19, shattering the rookie record of 16 and skating past Courtney Vandersloot's overall record of 18 set in 2020.

Clark, along with the rest of the Fever, got off to a quiet start, but she caught fire in the second quarter and jumped from four points to 14 points in a matter of minutes. She finished the first half with 14 points and eight assists on 6-of-12 shooting.

The Fever were able to battle back and trim their deficit to single-digits by halftime, and they found themselves tied with Dallas down the stretch. The Wings pulled away in the closing minutes, however, winning behind an offensive explosion of their own with 101 points.

Despite the loss, Clark enters the Olympic break with double-digit assists in six of her last seven games as Indiana's offense begins to find a rhythm after a tough start to the year.
