Conygham Twp. — A Wilburton man is wanted by police after he was reportedly caught stealing from a parked car last month.

State police were called to a property in the 500 block of Second Avenue in just after 5 p.m. on June 29. Neighbors said William Ennis, 41, was trespassing on private property, doing donuts and burnouts on his ATV, and yelling at homeowners. He also broke into one of the reported victim's parked car before leaving the scene.

When Trp. John Van Buren of state police at Bloomsburg arrived, Ennis was gone. A short time later, Van Buren was called back when Ennis returned. Police tried to make a stop on the ATV, but Ennis fled, Van Buren said.

After a short pursuit, police ended the chase due to weather conditions and obtained an arrest warrant through District Judge Craig Long.
