Storm Chances In The Northeast
Scattered showers and storms developed across the Northeast today bringing gusty winds and hail. Philadelphia, PA recorded a gust of 64 mph. The severe threat will continue into Monday and Tuesday. On Monday, we see a combination of hot temps and high dew points combined with a frontal boundary to provide enough lift and instability for very strong storms to develop. Strong damaging winds will be the biggest concern.

High temperatures today will range in the upper 80s and lower 90s for inland communities, with the coast reaching up to the mid 80s. Dew points will remain in the mid to upper 60s. You can expect a very hot and humid day. Sunday night will be clear with low temperatures throughout the 60s.

The University of Maine at Presque Isle’s New Golf Coach Graduated from UMPI
PRESQUE ISLE, Maine (WAGM) -The University of Maine Presque Isle has welcomed two new coaches this year, a new cross country coach and a new head golf coach. Last week we introduced you to the head cross country coach. Tonight we focus on the new head golf coach Michael Boone, who is coming into familiar territory. He graduated from UMPI with a bachelor of science in 2019. In 2018 he consistently led the golf team. Although he enjoyed his time there, he didn’t start at UMPI.
