BLUEFIELD, VA (WVNS) — If you’re looking for a good baseball game and an ice-cold cup of lemonade, you’ll get both at the Chamber Night Ridge Runner game at Bowen Field in Bluefield on July 10, 2024.

100th Anniversary of the Wedding of the Bluefields coming up

For one night only, visitors can go to the baseball field and get discounted game tickets and free lemonade.

Jeff Disibbio, President and CEO of the Chamber of Commerce of the Two Virginias, said these plans for the game have been in the works for a while.

“We give away free lemonade one day a year already and that is in conjunction with our Chamber Night at the ballpark,” said Disibbio. “So, anybody that wants to come out and get free lemonade… it’s only gonna be two dollars a person.”

Disibbio said that they’ve been working with the Ridge Runners to offer this special promotion for a couple years now.

The Bluefield Ridge Runners will be taking on the Danville Otterbots at 6:30 p.m.
