Savannah, Ga. (WJCL)- The morning into the early afternoon will be dry, but showers and thunderstorms will develop after 2 pm. There will be numerous showers or thunderstorms south and west of Savannah. Rain will be heavy at times. The severe threat is low today. It will be hot and humid with highs in the low to mid-90s and feels like temperature near 104°.
Warm afternoon, isolated storms possible
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - It’ll be a warm afternoon with highs in the mid 90s and feels like temperatures close to 105 degrees during the middle of the afternoon. Showers and storms are likely during the mid to late afternoon hours. The storms could produce heavy rain that could lead to isolated flooding. Frequent lightning and isolated damaging wind gusts will be possible. The severe threat should diminish after sunset.
