FirstEnergy personnel said they have recently been made aware of some recent scam attempts in the Mon Power service area where scammers are calling customers and saying their power will be cut off unless they call a provided phone number to make a payment.
Michigan man to serve a decade in prison for selling dangerous drugs in Mon, Taylor Counties
CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — A former Detroit resident will serve 10 years in federal prison for selling dangerous drugs in Monongalia and Taylor Counties. A jury found Kalen Daevon Lee, 31, of Detroit, Michigan, guilty of using a motel room in Morgantown to distribute 40 grams or more of fentanyl. Court documents said Lee went by the alias of “Tay” and maintained a storage facility in the area as well.
