The public is being asked to provide input on a proposed settlement action between the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality and GLF Holdings, LLC.

The request comes from a finding in October 2023 over the 360 Ranch Subdivision construction site in McCall .

According to a release, the “DEQ alleges that on Oct. 11, 2023, GFL Holdings, LLC, failed to comply with all applicable conditions of its Idaho Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (IPDES) 2022 stormwater Construction General Permit IDR10C08F. DEQ prepared an expedited settlement agreement and consent order directing GFL Holdings, LLC, to resolve the violations and either pay a civil penalty or request a compliance conference. GFL Holdings, LLC, has resolved the violations, made payment in full for the civil penalty of $8,595, and signed the consent order.”

DEQ is publishing the proposed settlement action for public input to be in compliance with the state’s “Rules Regulating the Idaho Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Program.”

The proposed settlement action can be viewed on the DEQ website and at 1410 N. Hilton Street, the department’s physical location in Boise. Comments can be submitted until July 31, 2024, at 5 p.m. Comments can also be emailed to Ben Johnson at ben.johnson@dep.idaho.gov or by mail to:
