Sunny skies to start the day with a few showers for the afternoon
Happy Friday! Today we will see plenty of sunshine, heat, and humidity. We started the day off with clear skies and dry weather with temperatures in the mid 70s. Temperatures for the afternoon will climb into the low to mid 90s. Heat index values for most will be in the triple digits. We could see a few scattered showers toward the afternoon, but most will stay dry.

We will see a few thunderstorms at times a little on the heavy side, especially by the late weekend.
