UPDATE: City Clerk explains why boil advisory lasted in Union Star through the weekend
UPDATE: KQ2 spoke with Union Star City Clerk, Stacy Benoit around 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, regarding the lifted boil advisory. Ms. Benoit stated that the repairs on the water mains were completed on Saturday, however due to the leaks happening on a weekend, the City had to wait until Monday morning to send water samples in to be tested for the presence of Coliform in the water system.
