Oakland, CA – On Tuesday, Alameda County District Attorney Pamela Price announced that motions have been filed requesting the resentencing of the death penalty convictions for Ernest Dykes, Keith Thomas, and Gregory Tate. Before catching a wave at Linda Mar Beach in Pacifica last Saturday, Peter Schultz had already secured two titles in the amateur competition for surfers over 40. A man was found sleeping in a residence on Blair Avenue and booked for trespassing. The incident was reported at 7:41 p.m. on July 8. The reporting party said they had recently purchased the house and found the man sleeping inside. Police arrived and took the suspect into custody. The suspect told police he had been dropped off at the house a day before, according to Piedmont Police Captain Chris Monahan. The suspect was on probation in Alameda County and was taken to Santa Rita Jail in Dublin.
