An alleged gang member was behind bars Monday on suspicion of gravely injuring another man over the weekend during a fight at a South Bay bar, authorities reported Monday. Patrol officers responding to a report of a disturbance found the victim unconscious in a parking lot at the business in the 800 block of East 23rd Street in National City shortly after 1:30 p.m. Sunday, according to police.
