City of Park Hills Receives Grant for Sidewalk Project
Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - The City of Park Hills has received a grant nearing $600,000 for an infrastructure project aimed at improving pedestrian safety and accessibility. The Southeast District of the 2024 Transportation Alternatives Program has awarded the city federal funding totaling $596,441.60. This project looks to enhance safety and accessibility along St. Joe Drive, starting at 7th Street and going to Simmons Avenue. Features will include ADA-compliant sidewalks, a new concrete curb and gutter, ADA-compliant concrete entrances, and a grass buffer between the sidewalk and the road.
