Main Street Perryton Continues To See Tornado Recovery Work
The demolition of the tornado-damaged businesses on the 100 block of East Main has been completed. Colby Waters, Perryton assistant city manager and CDC director, told KXDJ’s Chris Samples that in terms of demolition, the project went well. “If an empty block is a good thing, I would say it looks pretty good. Obviously having tornado-damaged businesses gone is a good thing but now it is time for build back,” he said.
