SPRINGVILLE – There was an increase in medical incidents at the 44th Annual “ABATE Celebrates America-themed” Boogie. Lawrence County Emergency Management Director Valerie Lauchauer said, “We had an unusually high number of emergency medical incidents during the ABATE Boogie. We had to fly one person out after an incident outside the Recreational Park.”

WESTERN Ky. (KFVS) - The Kentucky State Police report three people died in a multi-vehicle crash in Livingston County on Monday. According to KSP, a semi-truck driven by 24-year-old Mansur Kholikov of Brooklyn, New York, was traveling westbound on I-24 when traffic began to slow down near the 32-mile marker. However, for reasons still under investigation, KSP said Kholikov‘s vehicle did not slow down.
