Grab your sandals, home buyers: 347 square feet of waterside bliss can be yours in Rhode Island for $775,000.

Tucked on the edge of Green Hill Pond, a saltwater body of water, the cottage at at 104 Wild Goose Road in South Kingstown has deeded access, with several neighboring properties, to a private beach on the Atlantic Ocean.

Built in 1952, the one-bed, one-bath Rhode Island home is set back from the street on 0.15 of an acre. Featuring expansive water views, it has its own dock and access to a boat launch.

“It’s really just a beautiful place to be if you want to do water activities,” said Ashley Bowne of William Raveis, who has the listing. “It is the best place to kayak and paddleboard.”

A few steps lead up to the front door, which opens into the main living space of the home. To the left is the kitchen, home to lively blue and white cabinetry, wooden countertops, and patterned vinyl floors. That flooring flows into the living room, where sliding glass doors under the pine ceiling lead out to a fairly new Trex composite deck. It’s perfect for dinners on the water.

“Pretty much every single window in that house you can see the water from,” Bowne said. “If you’re on your dock, the sun sets right in front of you.”

Head inside after the sun sets, to play cards on the built-in fold-out table.

The bathroom, which features a step-in shower, is to the side of the kitchen. It has a direct exit to an outdoor shower in a private area of the deck, perfect for washing off after a day in the ocean.

Back inside, a pull-down ladder affords access to the second level, where there is a lofted bedroom. Featuring immaculately-crafted pine ceilings and floors, the bedroom looks down from a balcony at the lower level of the home and provides a beautiful view of the water in the distance through a semi-circular window.

“It’s definitely an ideal property for somebody who wants to get away from the city and have their own little spot,” said Bowne, who noted that the owners previously listed it as a “very successful” Airbnb when they couldn’t personally use it anymore.

“It’s the perfect investment opportunity or low-maintenance little getaway.”
