Pavarotti, Verdi, and Puccini are helping to drive loiterers from a New Hampshire 7-Eleven, but the operatic voices are also annoying neighbors near the 24-hour convenience store.

The 7-Eleven in Manchester, New Hampshire has been blaring opera music at all hours of the day and night to deter people from lingering at the store on South Main Street, NBC10 Boston reported.

“This store is blasting opera music outside so loud that if you were doing it at your home someone would call the cops about a ‘noise complaint,’” a local guide wrote as a Google review for the 7-Eleven.

Neighbors told the news station that the opera music, which plays throughout the night, keeps them and their children awake.

“My 4-year-old is autistic, and she already had a hard time as it is sleeping, so it’s been really difficult for us,” neighbor Jennifer Pudder told the station. “My hope is that they’ll turn it down at night so that people can sleep.”

NBC10 reporter Darren Botelho was reporting live from outside the convenience store, where he was almost yelling over the loud music. He said neighbors have reported the music to the city and the police, who didn’t comment on the opera music when contacted.

A manager at 7-Eleven referred the station to the company’s corporate communications, which did not return a request for comment from Boston.com Tuesday night. A phone number for the store appeared to be disconnected.
