Mark Wahlberg was left wondering why he wasn't asked to be involved in the Boston-heavy, Ben Affleck-starring Dunkin' Donuts commercial during the 2024 Super Bowl.

Speaking with ET , the Boston native Wahlberg said he will "of course" speak to Affleck about being left out of the commercial, which also starred Tom Brady and Matt Damon.

"You know what? I didn't get the call. Maybe the next time," he said. "... There's always a next time. I could be in the sequel. They need the lefty? Just call me. Always on the bench waiting."

In the advertisement , Affleck has Damon and Brady join his new musical group The DunKings. The trio performs for Affleck's wife, Jennifer Lopez, while she's in the studio. Things don't go great for them.

Up next for Wahlberg is feature film "Arthur the King," based on the true story of an adventure racing team's captain who befriends a stray dog named Arthur, who joins the team for an intense race.
