    18-year-old girl shot after high school graduation in the Seaport District on Thursday.

    Update:

    An 18-year-old who had just left her high school graduation from Boston Collaborative High School was shot in the chest on Thursday.

    According to NBC 10 Boston, the teen is expected to survive. The location of the shooting was at 200 Pier 4 Boulevard around 11:43 a.m., near the Institute of Contemporary Art, where the graduation had taken place.

    There were two crime scenes that police were investigating, BPD Commissioner Michael Cox told reporters. Investigators believe the shooting happened in a garage and that it may have followed an altercation.

    No arrests have been made yet. It wasn’t believed to be a random act of violence. BPD and District Attorney Kevin Hayden are asking for the public’s help in identifying the shooter and any accomplices.

    Shortly before 12pm on Thursday, BPD and MA State Police were called to the area of 130 Northern Ave in the Seaport for a shooting. According to the Citizens app, a woman was shot in the chest near a waterfront park.
