GRAMMY award winner Ella Mai appears to be expecting.

The British R&B star, 29, was spotted at the TD Garden on Monday night after the Boston Celtics clinched their 18th NBA Championship.

Mai’s apparent “baby bump” was first noticed by fans on social media after a clip of her wearing a Jayson Tatum jersey went viral.

In the clip , Mai could be seen fanning herself in a hallway at TD Garden before a player stops to give her a hug.

Exactly who the player was is unclear.

Another clip also surfaced, from what appeared to be a post-game celebratory event, in which she could still be seen wearing her Tatum jersey.

Fans were quick to speculate on X, formerly known as Twitter , after the clips landed.

“Glowing with her baby bump,” one fan said.

“So Ella Mai is pregnant. What a W year Tatum,” commented a second.

“It’s Ella Mai popping out to celebrate her man’s win with a stomach full of his child and some people still don’t know they’ve been dating for years. I love it!” added another.

While Mai and Tatum have never gone public, they were first linked as far back as 2019, per Page Six .

Since then, they have been spotted together at a handful of events, including Fanatics boss Michael Rubin’s Fourth of July White Party in 2022.

However, Mai has continually avoided confirming speculation regarding their relationship in multiple interviews.

“I think it’s been super important to me and I think as artists … we share a lot of ourselves already in the music,” she told ET in February 2023 on her desire for privacy.

“Even sitting down and talking to you, which is super fun, but I think there’s always a piece of me that wants to keep something to myself, you know?

“I think especially in relationships – whether it’s family, whether it’s friends, whether it’s romantically – those relationships are hard enough to keep without everybody knowing your business.”

Originally from London, Mai’s music career truly took off in 2017 with her hit song Boo’d Up.

She would go on to win the Grammy for Best R&B Song for the track a year later, while also being nominated for Song of the Year.

What the new TV deal means for the NBA?

THE new TV rights deal is promising to be a humongous win for NBA players.

The league is set to more than double the revenue coming from its media partners, pocketing about $6.9 billion per year, which will inevitably lead to a huge salary cap spike in 2025-26.

That is going to send the value of player contracts skyrocketing.

Projected figures suggest we might see the first $100 million-per-year deal being signed soon.

Currently, Boston Celtics All-Star Jaylen Brown is projected to earn the highest single-season salary in NBA history, collecting $65.1 million in 2028-29.

It does feel like basketball fans would be on the losing side of the fight if the NBA and TNT indeed parted ways, though.

Inside the NBA is a one-of-a-kind sports entertainment show , as evidenced by ESPN’s ongoing failure to come up with its own version of the program in recent years.

The NBA won’t be the same without Kenny and Ernie trying to make sense of Shaq and Chuck’s never-ending bickering every Tuesday night.

Mai has since been nominated a further two times, in 2020 for Best R&B Album with Herself, and in 2023 for Best Traditional R&B Performance thanks to Keeps on Fallin.

Over the years, Mai has worked alongside some of the biggest names in music including Ed Sheeran , Chris Brown , Usher , Ty Dolla $ign, and more.

As for Tatum, Monday marked the first NBA title of his career.

The 26-year-old five-time All-Star had to wait seven years to lift the Larry O’Brien Trophy, but in so doing, he helped the franchise take the overall lead for the most titles in league history.

Shortly after the final buzzer, Tatum could be seen sharing a sweet moment on the court with his son Deuce – whom he shares with his ex-girlfriend Toriah Lachell – as the two celebrated the historic win.
