Jayson Tatum Sparks Miami Outrage with Bold Taunt at Heat During Celtics Championship Parade

When you're the last team standing at the end of a season, and you're enjoying yourself during the championship parade, you tend to get to say what you want, to a point.

Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum took that liberty on Friday morning during the championship parade through Boston, letting loose and throwing some shade at one of his team's biggest rivals — the Miami Heat.

While talking to former Celtic Brian Scalabrine, Tatum was asked if Boston's defeat of the Miami Heat in the 2024 playoffs was any sweeter because of the troubles they've had against them in years past.

Tatum responded with an epic jab.

"They're always easy."

The Celtics took a flight down to Miami in the hours after winning the NBA Finals over the Dallas Mavericks to celebrate, which in itself is a bit of a jab at the Heat, coming down to their neck of the woods to take over the city and celebrate success.

As you would expect, Miami fans weren't too happy online.

When you're the champions, though, you can do what you want. Even if it isn't technically true.
