Man discovers 'impossible' optical illusion in Boston parking lot – nobody can figure it out

A man recently posted a video of an optical illusion he still can’t figure out. Can you?

Eddie, with the username @breaknpop , posted the video of the illusion. At a pizza shop in Boston, he sees the reflection of an orange Corvette in the window, but the car isn’t in the parking lot.

“Okay, where is this car that’s reflecting on this Boston Pizza window?” he asks.

There are cars parked in front of the pizza parlor, but no Corvette. He pans the camera across the parking lot, and still it’s not visible.

He called the incident a “glitch in the matrix.”

In a follow-up video, he walks closer to the window to get a different perspective. As he approaches, the reflection disappears, and he still can’t find the car .

He also gets close to the window to see if there’s something inside the shop that could create the illusion .

Surprise – there isn’t. People tried to explain the phenomenon in the comments.

One said: “In the beginning, you can see a car pulling away and then it pulls into your video so if you follow where that car came from, it’s in front of the black SUV.”

“You were in the Corvette. Obviously......” another wrote.

“Question is, where are the reflections of the cars parked in front of the windows?”

Some are sure they have it figured out. One said: "In front of the black Mercedes, you can see the roof through the windshield."
