NBA free agency begins on Sunday when teams are permitted to begin negotiations with all free agents. While contracts cannot be officially signed until July 6th, teams and free agents can reach agreements starting on June 30th at 6:00 PM ET.

The top names in NBA free agency include Paul George (player option), Klay Thompson, James Harden, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Tobias Harris, DeMar DeRozan, and others. While this group of players will receive the most attention, there is another multi-time All-Star that is available to be signed.

During a recent episode on Podcast P, five-time NBA All-Star John Wall revealed that he is still trying to make an NBA comeback. Sharing an Instagram post on Friday that included pictures and videos of him working out, Wall received a two-word message from Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum:

In his appearance on Podcast P, Wall said he is willing to accept any role that allows him to wear an NBA jersey again, even if that is just being a veteran to a team's younger players.

"A lot of these teams have a lot of young guys and don't have a lot of vets. I think you need those vets in the locker room," Wall said. "That's what teams are missing. I'm willing to accept any role it is to be on a team. If it's playing, not playing, being in a Udonis Haslem role. Anything like that. I just want to be in a NBA jersey again, because I know how much the game means to me, how much I still have left. If it's helping a team playing, if it's helping a team being a coach or a mentor, I'm willing to accept that."

Wall has not played in the NBA since his brief stint with the LA Clippers two seasons ago, but it seems he is still determined to find his way back onto a team. If nothing else, Wall has the support of new NBA champion Jayson Tatum.
