The Celtics announce Derrick White contract extension - and that they are for sale?

When fans of the Boston Celtics heard that their favorite team had extended point guard Derrick White, a collective exhalation could be heard in Celtics fandom. But it did not take long for concern for the team to return in a big way as news broke of a potential sale of the majority ownership of the team.

CLNS Media’s “Garden Report” podcast went live to discuss the Celtics signing White to a four-year, $125.9 million contract extension, which includes a player option. They also touched on the ownership group announcing its intent to sell all shares of the team eventually. T
