Angel Reese, NBA Superstar Appear At Celtics-Lakers Summer League Game

On Monday night, the Boston Celtics and the Los Angeles Lakers renewed their rivalry in the 2024 Las Vegas Summer League. This marked the first time that second-round draft pick Bronny James would face the Lakers' rival.

During the game, a fan in attendance captured a video of Celtics star and NBA Finals MVP Jaylen Brown in attendance to watch his team play. With him were his date, Kysre Gondrezick, and her former Chicago Sky teammate, Angel Reese.

Reese is in town for the Sky's upcoming match against the defending champion Las Vegas Aces. Gondrezick appeared in five games for the Sky this season before being released a couple of weeks ago.

Reese and Gondrezick have made their friendship well-known, and Reese definitely misses her teammate in Chicago. They have finally reunited in Vegas.

Gondrezick recently made an appearance as Brown's date in the 2024 ESPYs, where Brown won the Best Championship Performance award.

Reese is one of just two rookies in the WNBA to make the All-Star team this year, joining Indiana Fever sensation Caitlin Clark. Her double-double streak of 15 consecutive games came to an end recently, but she wound up breaking the record for the most consecutive ever in the WNBA, previously held by Candace Parker.
