The Las Vegas Summer League has begun with no shortage of headlines. On Monday night, discussions swirled on social media as Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown was seen allegedly making some comments about Bronny James during the game between the Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers.

In the video that surfaced, Brown allegedly said to Kysre Gondrezick, "I don't think Bronny is a pro."

Well, the Celtics star responded on social media on Tuesday, stating, "It’s a flex to have your son alongside you in the nba it reflects greatness and longevity! Bronny has all the tools around him to be successful I look forward to watching his growth."

Shortly after that, Bronny’s agent, Rich Paul, hopped on ESPN’s “The Pat McAfee Show” and had some comments on the video that caught everybody’s attention.

"They have opinions they can say what they want to say...If he has an opinion he can have an opinion. But I know Jaylen Brown and I know he doesn’t mean that with any malice, he’s just having a conversation. It’s just the world that we live in today, why would he think someone’s videoing him saying anything?”

Brown is fresh off an NBA title win and a Finals MVP, so he certainly knows a thing or two about quality play.

But, Rich Paul didn't seem too bothered by Jaylen Brown's comments about Bronny James one bit, even stating that it could be fuel for the Lakers rookie: “Bronny’s going to keep his head down and continue to work and use things as fuel but continue to be passionate about the game of basketball because that’s the true thing," Paul said.

So far, Bronny James has struggled in his short stint with the Lakers at the Summer League, but there is plenty of time for him to turn it around and find his rhythm on the court.

Yet, regardless of what people might be saying about Bronny, Rich Paul is stressing patience: "They don't run the credits at the beginning of the movie they run it at the end."

The Lakers next Summer League game is on Wednesday against the Atlanta Hawks.
