On3 Sports' Andy Staples discussed the Colorado Buffaloes on Tuesday. Deion Sanders and Colorado will have a lot expected of them in 2024.

Last season, Sanders showed improvements. After the team won a single game in 2022, Sanders finished the year at 4-8.

While there's still some work to be done to rebuild the program, Staples was confident in one thing about Colorado. He believed the Buffaloes were capable of reaching a bowl game this season.

He credited the improvements along the offensive line as a positive for Colorado. Staples thought the Buffaloes could win a few more games than last season.

"...The personnel on the offensive line is better, at least based on most of those players’ performances on their teams last season. Travis Hunter probably will be the best player on the field in every game," Staples said.  "Shedeur Sanders should be one of the best QBs in the Big 12. A two- or three-win improvement is entirely realistic, and going from 1-11 in 2022 to 6-6 or 7-5 in 2024 would be a perfectly acceptable level of improvement given the circumstances Sanders inherited."
