    Where the good news shines

Jake Dippy was hired as the assistant alpine coach for the Colorado Buffaloes ski team, head coach Jana Weinberger announced last week.

Dippy comes to CU from the U.S. Ski Team, where he was the ski technician for Jett Seymour on the Europa Cup and World Cup level the past two years. Seymour is the older brother of recently graduated CU skier Chase Seymour.

While at The U.S. Ski Team, Dippy worked closely with Seymour and others including Ben Ritchie and Luke Winters.

A Colorado native, he was born in Vail and skied competitively for Ski Club Vail from 2006-18 and attended Vail Ski and Snowboard Academy before graduating from Battle Mountain High School.
