Travis Hunter may have started some locker room issues with his recent comments on Colorado's offensive line.

The two-way star for Colorado's football team was live-streaming EA Sports College Football 25 with teammate Shedeur Sanders when he took an unnecessary shot at the team's offensive line.

Hunter and Sanders played against each other twice, both using the Buffaloes. Sanders won both contests, one of which he closed out with a pick-six with Hunter's in-game player.

The two college football stars got their hands on the highly-anticipated video game ahead of its' July 19 release date. While fans tuned in to watch them play, Hunter's comments on the offensive line may have been the most notable moment from the live stream.

Here's a look at what Hunter said and why it could spark some controversy within the Buffaloes' locker room.

What Travis Hunter said about Colorado offensive line

Hunter didn't hold back criticism of the offensive line when the defense broke through for a sack on 4th and 22 in the third quarter.

"'The o-line is realistic,'" Hunter seemingly read off the live stream's chat. "Yes, very realistic. They just can't block for nothing."

It's uncertain how serious Hunter was with his jab at the offensive line. He was frustrated with the game as he trailed Sanders 36-7 late in the third.

Hunter immediately left the pocket on the play, which allowed the defensive line to break off and chase him. Had he stayed in the pocket, the offensive line likely would have held up long enough to complete a pass.

Sanders, the team's quarterback, offered very little rebuttal to Hunter's comments. He laughed and asked "What do you mean?" before moving on with the game.

Sanders went on to win that game 56-14.

Between Hunter's shade and Sanders not standing up for the group that protects him in the pocket, locker room issues could be starting early for the 2024-25 Buffaloes.

The program is aiming to improve in the second season under head coach Deion Sanders after going 4-8 in 2023.
