Travis Hunter Makes Scathing Comments About Colorado's O-Line While Playing College Football 25

On the cusp of the release of EA Sports' College Football 25, some are getting the benefit of playing the game early, like Colorado's Travis Hunter.
Hunter, of course, will be featured in the upcoming video game, and as part of his deal with EA Sports, will be paid a sum of $600 and given a copy of the game.
Over the weekend, the two-way star decided to go on a live stream playing the game. Unsurprisingly, Hunter picked the Buffaloes as his team.
On one particular play — albeit on a 4th-and-22, down 36-7 — Hunter gets sacked after scrambling around to attempt to make the first down. One of the viewers watching seemed to ask if this was a true representation of the Buffaloes team, and Hunter didn't hold back.
"Yes, very realistic," Hunter said. "They can't block for nothing."
There was only one team in the FBS that had a worse offensive line that allowed more sacks than Colorado last season out of 133 schools. Old Dominion surpassed the Buffaloes' 56 sacks with 62.
Even Colorado head coach Deion Sanders has not hidden the fact that last year's unit was anything short of horrible, as one of his main goals this offseason was making additions through the transfer portal.
Apr 27, 2024; Boulder, CO, USA; Colorado Buffaloes cornerback Travis Hunter (12) warms up before a spring game event at Folsom Field.
Colorado brings in nine new offensive line additions from the portal this year while simultaneously seeing another eight go out. Whether or not this translates to better production remains to be seen.
Hunter is set to once again play both offense and defense this season at wide receiver and cornerback. It will be interesting to see how his new teammates respond to his words, even if it was while playing a video game.
